Boston, Harvard/Cambridge University, Cheers Bar & Plymouth Rock

Didn’t get a chance to write much in my diary on August 16/17….so todays excerpt is some of the photos we took as we travelled through the Boston area.  We went on a bus tour of the area which encompassed Harvard and Cambridge University and historical sites like Fenway Park, and the Cheers Bar.  Kids fell asleep on the tour.  Oh well, what can you do?

On our way out of Boston, we happened upon Plymouth Rock.  It was a lot smaller than I thought it would be.  Apparently a crane tried to move it and it broke in half, so part of it is in the town and the other part is enclosed in this huge monumental building so no one will steal it!
